AI-first screen recording for Mac

The recorder that knows what you did, not just what you said.

Wrap records your screen, camera and voice, logs what you did, and your own AI agent edits the take while you approve every cut.

Wrap is in private beta. Leave your email and you'll get the download link when a build is ready for you. Nothing else.

AI first, not added on

The transcript is half the story.

Most recorders added AI to an editor that already existed. Wrap started with the agent and built the recorder around what it needs. Other tools read what you said and guess at the rest. Wrap also keeps a log of what you did: every terminal command with its exit code, test and build runs, the file and line in focus, clicks and typing. Secrets are masked before anything is written.

What other tools see

"...and now we run the tests. Okay. Okay, so that passed. Let's look at the service."

Guess: cut the pause.

What Wrap sees

  • 12:04.1 terminal ./mvnw test
  • 12:23.8 exit 0 (19.7s)
  • 12:25.0 focus OrderService.java:44
  • 12:26.2 typed 38 chars, line 44

Know: speed the test run up 4x, then zoom on line 44.

Agents

Your agent edits. You approve.

Connect Claude Code, Codex or Cursor with one click in the app. No credits and no upload: nothing leaves your Mac. The agent writes a plan, you preview each change on a real frame, accept them one by one, and undo any of them by name.

Everything an agent can do

Wrap's Review window: a Rough cut proposal with flagged attempts grouped at the top, each with Play and Keep, and fillers and pauses folded below
Two frames: the IDE full screen as typing starts, then thirty seconds later zoomed in on the line being typed

The event log at work

It speeds up the wait instead of cutting it.

A build or a test run is sped up, not removed, because Wrap knows it was a build. Coding zooms follow the line you're typing, so the viewer sees the code you're talking about.

Recording you can trust

You never lose a take.

Twenty minutes with the wrong mic. All of it gone. That happened to Dan Vega, who makes a coding video every week, so he built the recorder that checks before it rolls and speaks up while it does.

Preflight before every take. One line with one fix when the mic goes quiet, the camera stops or the disk runs low. Crash-safe takes that the next launch recovers.

Wrap during a take: three banners read We can't hear your mic, Camera stopped and Disk space is low, each with Keep recording and Stop buttons
A link card in a personal brand kit, navy and green, in the corner of a video frame

Brand kits and Remixes

One recording, everything you post.

Put your colors, fonts, logo and name in a brand kit, and every link card and lower third takes its look from it. Remixes make Shorts and X clips from the same project, and they stay in sync with the main edit.

Every feature

Wrap is in private beta.

Leave your email and you'll hear from Dan when a build is ready for you. No spam, no newsletter, just the download link.
